Founder / Managing Director
Tristan is the founder and managing director of Platinum AV, which was started in his garage in 2006 and has continued to grow ever since. Tristan started the company because of his passion for technology and the event production industry and he felt that he could create a company that combined event technology expertise with more personal and friendly service.
Tristan is an expert in all things technology and is constantly researching the latest equipment and gadgets to make your events run smoothly and to add that spectacular element to your event.
Simon is a passionate event professional and has over 14 years experience working in the events industry including event management, hospitality management, event staging, event theming and of course audio vision and event production. Simon holds a Bachelor degree in Commerce majoring in marketing and finance as well as a diploma in Project Management. Simon’s expertise is in the pre-planning and organisation of your events and takes great pride in ensuring that your experience with Platinum AV is professional and stress-free.
